For Parents
Walking in is the bravest part. We'll take it from there.
Everything you need to know before your first visit — and a personal note from our founder.
What to expect at the assessment
- • A warm welcome and a calm, child-led space.
- • A detailed conversation with you about your child, their history, and your concerns.
- • Multi-domain assessment across speech & language, behaviour, cognition, social and motor skills.
- • Time, not a rush. Most assessments take 60–90 minutes.
- • A debrief with you on initial observations.
- • A written plan and fee structure shared shortly after.
How to prepare your child
- • Keep the day relaxed — no big errands or new foods before the visit.
- • Bring a comfort item: a favourite toy, snack, or blanket.
- • Dress your child in clothes that move easily for motor activities.
- • Tell them simply: "We're going to meet some kind people who will play with you."
- • Bring any prior reports, school notes, or medical records you have.
- • Come with your questions written down. There are no wrong ones.

A personal message
From Ms. Zahida Awan to you.
If you are reading this, I know exactly the weight you are carrying. I have sat across from parents who arrived exhausted, frightened, and unsure if anyone was really listening anymore.
Here, you will be listened to. Your child will be seen for who they are — not what they cannot yet do. Parents are kept informed, guided and supported at every step — because a supported parent is the strongest ally a child can have.
"Walk in, just once. Let us meet your child. Everything else can begin from there."
— Zahida
